67-acre spread south of Las Vegas Strip sells for $60M

A spread of land south of the Strip that was eyed for a stadium and an arena during the bubble years — and whose owner later tried to lure the Raiders — has been sold.

Ernest Lee, whose family’s business interests include real estate and casinos, acquired 66.6 acres at the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road for $60 million, property records show.

The sale, by ABP Capital, closed April 19.
